How to use Apple Intelligence Features

SmartGym integrates with Apple Intelligence through Foundation Models, Apple’s on-device large language model. This integration enables SmartGym to perform intelligent, context-aware tasks tailored to your needs.

Enabling These Features

Before you start, make sure you have:

  1. A device that supports Apple Intelligence, with the feature turned on in Apple's Settings app.
  2. iOS 26 or later installed.
  3. SmartGym version 7.7 or later.
  4. An active SmartGym Premium+ subscription.

To enable these features, open SmartGym on your device, navigate to the More tab, and then enable the Apple Intelligence toggle.

Smart Greeting

On the main screen (Routines tab), you’ll be welcomed with a personalized motivational message at the top, generated from your fitness data and goals. This is a smart dynamic greeting, that constantly changes to reflect your progress. They appear right above your routines and it is a great motivation boost.

Insights

Tracking progress just got smarter. SmartGym now uses Apple Intelligence to turn your workout data into short, insightful summaries. Monthly summaries, routine breakdowns, and your custom goals, all made easy to understand.

Custom Goal Insights

With a single tap, SmartGym analyzes your progress and turns it into clear, actionable insights. See how close you are to reaching your milestones, where you’re excelling, and what you can focus on next to push even further.

Monthly Summary Insights

SmartGym now breaks down your training, summarizing all your progress. Easily switch between months to spot long-term progress and celebrate just how far you’ve come. Every summary feels like your own personal fitness report card.

Routine Progress Insights

SmartGym now dives deep into each routine, showing detailed insights into your performance, improvements, and consistency. Instantly see how your effort is paying off.

Import From Text

Smart Trainer already creates personalized workouts tailored to your goals, experience level, available equipment, and more.

But what if you need something even more specific? Maybe you are three or four months pregnant and want a lower-body-focused routine. Or maybe you have a unique case that requires a custom approach. Simply copy any workout in plain text and paste it into SmartGym. Instantly, it becomes a fully structured workout with sets, reps, rest times, and more. Even better, Smart Trainer will automatically adapt it to the equipment you have available.

And just like Smart Trainer does with the workouts it creates, it will continue to track your progress and suggest smart adjustments as you improve.
