How to set custom heart rate zones

With SmartGym 7.10 or later, it's possible to define your own heart rate zones to match your fitness level, training style, and goals. Especially useful for users on medications like beta blockers, where typical thresholds don't reflect reality. Your custom zones apply everywhere: workouts, charts, summaries, and Apple Watch.


How to set custom heart rate zones

  1. Open the app and go to the History tab.
  2. Select any workout that includes heart rate data.
  3. At the top of the workout summary, tap your heart rate.
  4. Scroll down to the heart rate zones section.
  5. Tap the (i) button in the heart rate zones section.
  6. Change the setting to Manual.
  7. Enter your custom heart rate zones and save your changes.
