How do I create supersets?

A superset is a form of strength training in which you move quickly from one exercise to a separate exercise with minimal or no rest in between the two exercises. It can be composed of two or more exercises. An optional rest at the end can be added.

To create a superset on SmartGym, just enable the superset toggle inside each exercise but the last. For example, let's say you want to create a superset composed of Biceps Curl, Bench Press and Butterfly, in that specific order. So this is what you will do:

  • Enable superset toggle on the first exercise (Biceps Curl).
  • Enable superset toggle on the second exercise (Bench Press).
  • *Disable* superset toggle on the third exercise (Butterfly).

The reason why you leave the last one disabled is to indicate the end of the superset. This means that after you execute one set of the last exercise, you should move on and execute the following set of the first exercise. If you add a rest at the end, then you will only move to the first exercise after resting.

Alternatively, you can also create a superset from the list of exercises. Starting with SmartGym version 7.5.4, you can swipe an exercise from right to left, and then simply toggle the superset option.
